Before giving a price estimate, the
following will give you an idea of the different
features and options you can choose depending on
your budget.
POOL::
Pools are quoted in measurements of length by
width, but often the actual square metre measure
is a more accurate indication of the size of
the pool.
CONSTRUCTION::
Steel Reinforced Concrete
SHAPE::
Building in concrete allows you to choose almost
any shape you desire.
POOL AREA::
Square meters of surface area are
the most accurate way to define the
actual swimming pool area of your
pool. This is the measurement you
should look at when deciding the size
of your pool.
DEPTHS::
Are always the actual water depths and
are usually in the vicinity of 1000mm
to 1800mm to 1200mm.
INTERIOR FINISH::
Exposed pebble in the colour of your
choice is a long lasting and economical
choice for the pool interior. (For
alternatives, please see options under
interior finish)
COPING::
Can vary substantially according to personal
choice. Some of the popular finishes
today are terra-cotta, clay bricks, sandstone
type pavers, and timber deck.
EXCAVATION::
The pool would normally be excavated
by mechanical equipment, i.e. mini excavator
or backhoe. Suitable access, unless otherwise
specified, is to be provided by owner.
PUMP
AND FILTER::
The quality of the pool equipment can
often be gauged by the warranty provided
by the manufacturer. Some manufacturers
offer 10 year warranties on their filters
and we suggest that this is well worth
considering.

are subject to ground conditions being
suitable for excavation by machinery
